Give A Little.... Care A LOT

Dear Friends and Family,
I hope that you all are doing very well. It is a new year and I've decided that it's a time to do bigger and better things for myself as well as others. When I say bigger, I mean BIGGER. As you all know I love to do things to help various organizations to raise funds and just volunteer my time. This year I've devoted this to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I will be running a half marathon on the 18th of May, 2003 in Dallas, TX. I am really looking forward to it.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was established in 1949 to help find a cure for blood related cancers and to improve the quality of life for these patients. The society is the world?s largest organization solely concerned with finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and Hodgkin?s disease, and myeloma. The society provides funding for research and provides financial and emotional support for patients affected by these diseases.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is very important to me. I feel so strongly in the society's drive for a cure and motivation for helping this hurting body that I became involved. I plan to spend my time training and fundraising for the society.
My personal goal for this marathon is to raise $1,200 toward research and development of a cure. I am writing you to ask you for your prayers as well as your financial support. Any amount you give will help. Please complete the attached form and send your tax-deductible donation to me ASAP. I just would like to thank you for the support and the ability for you to open your heart to help.
